Improvement in Energy Consumption of Residential Buildings by Value Engineering

The dissertation of improvement in energy consumption in residential buildings by means of value engineering was approved to increase efficiency in the energy sector in Iran. In this dissertation, a practical way for application of value engineering was created by studying different international resources in order to reduce energy consumption in residential buildings. Moreover, this new methodology considers all different parameters and giving value to them simply but comprehensively. Then, it presents the most valuable offers for reduction in energy consumption in residential buildings according to the computer software created in this regard. Consequently, based on this method a sample building was built in Isfahan by the lowest rate of energy consumption.
