In this article, a new method is presented in the implementation of value engineering in order to continuously improve quality and reduce costs. The surveys show the practical need of the industry in implementing new methods to solve the problem and reduce costs with a special look at the quality expected by the beneficiaries of the project. For this purpose, the model proposed by the value engineering team has been established in one of the projects of the auto parts manufacturing industry. The use of this method has shown the improvement of process capability and system performance in the indicators determined by the value engineering team. The practical results of some studies show the reduction of production costs and costs of supplying raw materials, warehousing, and the production of quality non-conforming products, as well as increasing the production rate.
