About Conference

The Coal Operators’ Conference has been held at the University of Wollongong since 1998. The Conference is organized by Mining Engineering – University of Wollongong. The Conference addresses issues relating to various aspects of modern coal mining operations, both surface and underground and offers the opportunity for industry experts to share research and insights. Celebrating its 20th year, this three (3) day event includes pre-conference workshop, industry exhibitions, social & networking activities, along with technically enriching presentations.
